Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during procedures, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for young patients
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms to maintain a safe, clean environment
• Take and develop dental X-rays with care and accuracy
• Provide outstanding patient care and educate families on oral hygiene
• Maintain accurate patient records and support front-office tasks as needed
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification or licensure in Wisconsin, if applicable
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Previous experience in a dental office, especially pediatric, is a plus
• A warm, patient-friendly attitude with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques
• Familiarity with dental software and patient scheduling systems
• Understanding of infection control protocols
• Empathy and patience when working with children and families
