Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist pediatric dentists during procedures, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for young patients
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms to maintain a safe, clean environment
- Take and develop dental X-rays with care and accuracy
- Provide outstanding patient care and educate families on oral hygiene
- Maintain accurate patient records and support front-office tasks as needed
- Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or licensure in Wisconsin, if applicable
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Previous experience in a dental office, especially pediatric, is a plus
- A warm, patient-friendly attitude with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques
- Familiarity with dental software and patient scheduling systems
- Understanding of infection control protocols
- Empathy and patience when working with children and families
