Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and thorough dental hygiene care to patients
- Perform cleanings, scaling, and root planing procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
- Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- Adhere to strict infection control and safety standards
Qualifications
- Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental hygiene techniques and best practices
- Skill in patient education and motivational interviewing
- Attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
- Comfort using dental software and digital imaging
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
