Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages
• Assess respiratory status and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team on patient progress
• Set up and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen therapy
• Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and home care
• Document patient responses and adjust therapies as needed

Qualifications

• Active Oregon Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
• RRT or CRT certification through the NBRC
• Current BLS certification (ACLS/PALS a plus)
• Previous experience as a respiratory therapist preferred
• New graduates encouraged to apply if licensed

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency with ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and oxygen delivery systems
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
