Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and deliver individualized nursing care to pediatric patients
• Administer medications and treatments with accuracy and safety
• Monitor vital signs and patient status, reporting changes promptly
• Educate and support patients and their families throughout treatment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
• Document patient care thoroughly and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon or a compact state
• Current BLS certification required; PALS certification preferred
• Prior pediatric nursing experience is a plus
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, compassionate environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of pediatric growth, development, and assessment
• Proficiency in pediatric medication administration and IV therapy
• Comfortable with electronic health records and documentation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Patience, empathy, and a family-centered approach to care
