Shift Type: Flexible per diem 12.5-hour shifts, scheduled as needed
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and deliver individualized nursing care to pediatric patients
- Administer medications and treatments with accuracy and safety
- Monitor vital signs and patient status, reporting changes promptly
- Educate and support patients and their families throughout treatment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
- Document patient care thoroughly and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon or a compact state
- Current BLS certification required; PALS certification preferred
- Prior pediatric nursing experience is a plus
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, compassionate environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of pediatric growth, development, and assessment
- Proficiency in pediatric medication administration and IV therapy
- Comfortable with electronic health records and documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Patience, empathy, and a family-centered approach to care
