Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing assessments for pediatric patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and feeding disorders
• Provide direct therapy to help patients improve speech clarity, language comprehension, and safe swallowing
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and other therapists to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed
• Educate families on techniques to support communication and swallowing at home

Qualifications

• Current Oregon Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
• BLS certification required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders
• Skilled in administering speech and swallowing evaluations
• Ability to create engaging, age-appropriate therapy activities
• Proficient in electronic medical records documentation
• Team-oriented mindset with a patient-centered approach
