Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and interventions safely and promptly
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
• Document patient status and care accurately in real time
• Act quickly and confidently in response to changing patient needs and emergencies

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana or a compact state
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification highly preferred
• ICU or critical care nursing experience strongly valued
• Ability to remain calm and focused in fast-paced, high-acuity situations

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Proficiency with cardiac monitoring, ventilators, and critical care equipment
• Excellent communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Knowledge of evidence-based critical care protocols
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
