Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to pediatric patients in a friendly, compassionate manner
• Perform dental cleanings, take x-rays, and apply fluoride treatments with precision
• Educate patients and families on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Collaborate with the dentist to develop personalized treatment plans
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Maryland
• Current CPR certification
• Experience working with children preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
• Understanding of pediatric dental care
• Radiography certification (x-ray) for dental setting
• Strong attention to detail and infection control practices
• Patient education skills
