Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered dental hygiene care
• Perform professional cleanings, scaling, and root planing
• Educate patients on oral health and preventive care
• Manage 30-minute appointment slots efficiently to keep the day running smoothly
• Collaborate with the dentist and dental assistant to deliver seamless treatment
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Dental Hygiene license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Ability to build rapport with patients of all ages
• Comfortable working with a dental assistant in a team environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient education and communication
• Scaling, polishing, and preventive care techniques
• Infection control and sterilization protocols
• Time management in a fast-paced dental setting
• Teamwork and collaboration with dental staff
