Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered dental hygiene care
- Perform professional cleanings, scaling, and root planing
- Educate patients on oral health and preventive care
- Manage 30-minute appointment slots efficiently to keep the day running smoothly
- Collaborate with the dentist and dental assistant to deliver seamless treatment
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Dental Hygiene license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Completion of an accredited dental hygiene program
- Ability to build rapport with patients of all ages
- Comfortable working with a dental assistant in a team environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient education and communication
- Scaling, polishing, and preventive care techniques
- Infection control and sterilization protocols
- Time management in a fast-paced dental setting
- Teamwork and collaboration with dental staff
