Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist dental hygienists with patient care and procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
• Provide friendly and reassuring support to patients during visits
• Keep treatment rooms clean, organized, and ready for patients

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification (as required by Maryland state)
• CPR/BLS certification for healthcare providers
• Experience working in a dental setting is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization techniques, and OSHA standards
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Attention to detail for accurate record keeping and X-ray processing
• Excellent patient interaction and customer service skills
