Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Provide excellent patient care and comfort
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

Qualifications

• Wisconsin Dental Assistant certification or eligibility to obtain
• Radiology (x-ray) certification is a plus
• Experience as a dental assistant in a pediatric or general practice is preferred
• Strong communication and patient-facing skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Familiarity with dental software and scheduling systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Attention to infection control standards
