Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for young patients.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms according to safety protocols.
• Take and develop dental x-rays, ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
• Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling.
• Provide chairside support and anticipate the needs of the dental team.

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training required.
• Radiology (x-ray) certification preferred.
• Experience working with pediatric patients is a big plus!
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for providing excellent patient care.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques.
• Proficiency in dental software and patient management systems.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
