Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience
- Prepare and sterilize instruments, maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Educate patients and their families on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Manage patient records and appointments with attention to detail
- Support a fun, friendly atmosphere, especially for our young patients
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent credential
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Radiography/X-ray certification
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology
- Proficiency in dental software for patient management
- Skill in providing compassionate care to children and anxious patients
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with the dental team
