Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the lead dentist in providing exceptional dental care to our young patients
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
• Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
• Support the dentist during procedures by handing instruments and managing patient comfort
• Educate patients and families on proper oral hygiene practices
• Maintain accurate patient records and help with appointment scheduling

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential or willingness to obtain
• Valid radiology (X-ray) certification required
• Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with children and parents

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental software and scheduling systems
• Understanding of infection control protocols
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced pediatric dental practice
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach
