Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT and X-ray procedures for diagnostic interpretation
• Ensure patient safety by practicing ALARA radiation safety standards
• Provide compassionate patient education and care before, during, and after imaging
• Operate imaging equipment per manufacturer guidelines and department protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging and reports
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, stocking supplies as needed
• Assist in the training and cross-training of imaging staff
• Respond to STAT and emergent cases promptly and professionally
• Take call as required and support the team during emergencies, holidays, and weekends

Qualifications

• Must hold ARRT registration in at least two modalities (R, CT, MRI, M, N, S) or be eligible to obtain within one year
• Current BLS certification (or obtain within 90 days)
• Prior experience as a practicing technologist preferred, especially in CT or X-ray
• Must be able to pass background check, drug screen, and employee health screening
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Computed Tomography (CT) and X-ray expertise
• Knowledge of PACS, RIS/HIS, and Microsoft Office
• Understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles
• Patient assessment and education skills
• Quality control and equipment troubleshooting
• Ability to learn and cross-train in MRI, DEXA, and Mammography
