Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT exams using advanced GE Revolution 256 slice and GE VCT 64 slice scanners
• Administer IV contrast and follow established imaging protocols to produce high-quality images
• Support the emergency room by efficiently imaging patients in a fast-paced environment
• Document exams accurately in Meditech and Synapse PACS systems
• Collaborate with tenured hospital staff to ensure positive patient experiences
• Maintain a safe and comforting environment for patients during procedures

Qualifications

• ARRT RT (R)(CT) certification required, with CT accreditation
• Minimum 2 years of experience performing CT exams
• Competent in basic CT skills; no interventional experience needed
• Experience with GE Revolution 256 slice and GE VCT 64 slice scanners preferred
• Ability to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of CT imaging protocols and IV contrast policies
• Proficiency with GE Revolution 256 slice and GE VCT 64 slice CT equipment
• Familiarity with Meditech and Synapse PACS for documentation
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a busy ER environment
