Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT studies (trauma, stroke, ER and inpatient exams) using GE 64/128 Rev EVO scanners
• Operate and troubleshoot CT equipment while ensuring patient safety and image quality
• Document studies and maintain accurate patient records in Meditech
• Provide clear, compassionate patient preparation and education before imaging
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and the ED team to prioritize emergent and trauma cases
• Participate in holiday coverage and on-call rotations as required by unit staffing
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and departmental policies to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification (required)
• CPR certification (required)
• SCRQSA certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of CT technologist experience (explicit requirement)
• Experience with GE 64 Rev Evo and GE 128 Rev EVO scanners
• Familiarity with Meditech or similar documentation systems
• Ability to work weekends, holidays and participate in on-call coverage

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven CT scanning skills for trauma, stroke, emergency room and inpatient exams
• Hands-on experience with GE CT platforms (64 & 128 Rev EVO)
• Comfortable using Meditech for documentation and workflow
• Strong patient care, positioning and communication skills
• Knowledge of radiation safety and imaging best practices
• Ability to prioritize urgent studies in fast-paced ED/trauma settings
