Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, schedule to be determined (exact start/end times and days will be provided upon scheduling)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and resident conditions accurately
Support the nursing team with timely communication of changes in resident status
Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and personal hygiene while promoting dignity
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Document care and observations clearly and promptly as directed by facility protocol

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
State registration or licensure as applicable in Pennsylvania
Up-to-date basic health requirements (immunizations, TB test) and ability to pass background checks
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered attitude
Ability to work 12-hour shift blocks and lift/assist residents as needed

Education

High school diploma or GED (preferred)
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable assisting with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
Understanding of infection prevention and safe patient handling
Clear communication skills with residents, families, and team members
Reliable time management and ability to follow care plans
