Location: Tacoma, Washington

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, holidays same as nursing staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care to diverse patient populations including cardiac, neuro, and post-surgical patients
Monitor and record vital signs while supporting med-tele level of care needs
Assist with activities of daily living and ensure patient comfort throughout their stay
Perform PIV and foley removals while maintaining excellent infection control practices
Collaborate with nursing staff across multiple facilities as a valued float team member

Qualifications

Active CNA certification required
Experience with vital signs and med-tele level of care preferred
Ability to float between St. Joseph Medical Center, St. Clare Hospital, and St. Elizabeth Hospital
COVID vaccine required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to work with diverse patient populations including cardiac, neuro, and orthopedic cases
Flexible and adaptable approach to floating between facilities
Reliable team player who thrives in fast-paced environments
