Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on direct patient care with dignity and respect
Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding) to promote comfort and independence
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff to support timely interventions
Maintain safe, clean, and comfortable patient environments while following infection control procedures
Document patient information accurately and promptly to ensure quality continuity of care
Collaborate with the care team to implement individualized care plans and improve patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in North Carolina (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
State-required background checks and immunizations in place
Comfortable working day shifts and performing physical tasks associated with patient care
Friendly, patient-focused attitude and strong communication skills
Previous experience in long-term care or acute care settings is a plus (preferred)

Education

High school diploma or GED required
Completion of an approved CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in basic patient care and ADLs
Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
Ability to accurately observe and report clinical changes
Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork mindset
Time management and organizational skills to handle a busy shift
