Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure resident comfort and safety
- Support residents with meals and hydration, noting dietary preferences and restrictions
- Document care provided and communicate effectively with the healthcare team
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and understanding of resident needs
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and vital sign monitoring
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities
