Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist nursing team with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility support
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing staff promptly
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and vital signs
- Support a safe, clean, and respectful environment for patients and families
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver person-centered care that improves outcomes
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Must be local to the Kennebunk, ME area (LOCAL ONLY)
- Comfortable working the evening shift: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team
- Willingness to complete facility onboarding and any required screenings
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Active CNA certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs delivered with kindness
- Basic vital signs measurement and observation skills
- Infection control and safe patient handling practices
- Clear documentation and effective team communication
- Dependability, empathy, and a patient-first attitude
