Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support safe transfers and ambulation while using proper body mechanics
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and resident interactions
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care
• Create a warm, respectful environment that promotes resident well-being and independence

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required; T-CNA accepted
• Current state certification or ability to obtain WV CNA credentials prior to start
• Comfortable working 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM night shifts and adapting to facility schedules
• Ability to pass background check and standard onboarding requirements
• Professional attitude, strong communication skills, and teamwork mindset

Knowledge & Skills

• Hands-on resident care and assistance with ADLs
• Basic vital signs measurement and documentation
• Infection control practices and safe resident handling
• Clear communication with residents, families, and clinical staff
• Time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Empathy, patience, and a commitment to resident dignity
