Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs, and promptly report any changes to the nursing team
- Support patients during meals, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comforting environment for residents
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to promote patient well-being
- Offer emotional support and companionship to residents and their families
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of New Mexico
- CPR/BLS certification (AHA or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening

- Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and safety protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor
- Time management and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to lift and move patients
