Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, with kindness and respect
• Take and record vital signs, and report any changes to the nursing team promptly
• Support residents with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and their families

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of New Mexico
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
• Ability to pass a background check and provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or an approved exemption

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care techniques and safety protocols
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation
• Physical stamina to stand, lift, and assist with resident mobility
