Shift Type: Day shift, Sunday, Monday, Saturday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, helping them with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Take and record vital signs, and report changes in condition to the nursing team promptly.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, making each day a little brighter.
- Keep resident rooms and common areas clean, safe, and comfortable.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning to keep everyone safe and comfortable.
- Collaborate with the care team to deliver personalized care that promotes dignity and quality of life.
Qualifications
- You're a certified CNA in New Mexico (or able to obtain before start).
- You have a current BLS/CPR certification.
- You're fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption.
- You've got at least 1 year of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting (preferred).
- You're a team player with a big heart and a can-do attitude.
- You're comfortable with standing, lifting, and being on your feet for shifts.
Knowledge & Skills
- Know your way around vital signs monitoring and patient hygiene.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with nurses, doctors, and families.
- Understanding of infection control and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with electronic charting and documentation.
- A calm, patient approach even when things get busy.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing needs.
