Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily living assistance to patients recovering from acute conditions
• Take and document vital signs accurately, alerting the nursing team to any changes
• Support patients with mobility, transfers, and rehabilitation exercises
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comforting environment for patients and families
• Collaborate with nurses and therapists to ensure each patient's care plan is followed
• Offer emotional support and encouragement to help patients achieve their independence goals

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Indiana
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift for most of your shift
• No prior experience required - perfect for new CNAs looking to grow

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and safety protocols
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail in documenting patient information
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of infection control and HIPAA practices
