Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care for residents, helping with activities of daily living
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility while preserving dignity
- Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to nursing staff
- Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect residents and yourself
- Document care in the resident chart and follow facility policies for accurate records
- Collaborate with the care team to create a comfortable, safe environment
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (or equivalent) — state certification required or eligible to obtain
- Basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willing to obtain
- Comfortable working early day shifts (5:00 AM start) and weekend coverage
- Ability to pass required background checks and follow facility onboarding requirements
- Compassionate attitude, strong communication skills, and teamwork mindset
Education
- High school diploma or GED
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Comfort with resident hygiene, feeding assistance, and toileting support
- Ability to take and chart vital signs and recognize basic changes in condition
- Familiarity with infection control practices and safe patient handling
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for resident and family interactions
- Basic documentation skills and ability to follow care plans
