Location: Santa Maria, California

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with call coverage from 3:30 PM - 7:00 AM on weekdays and every other weekend from 3:30 PM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $93 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional Cath Lab and IR procedures with precision and care
Assist physicians during cardiac catheterizations, stent placements, and electrophysiology studies
Prepare and maintain specialized equipment including Xper and Cerner systems
Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Float between Cath Lab, IR, and EP labs to support dynamic patient needs
Respond promptly to on-call emergencies within a 30-minute window

Qualifications

Active RCIS or ARRT certification required
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab or IR experience
EP lab experience preferred
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Travel experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of Cath Lab and IR procedures
Familiarity with Cerner and Xper systems
Ability to scrub, circulate, and monitor cases
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Comfortable floating between multiple specialty labs
