Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM + Call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in performing left and right heart catheterizations to save lives
Support advanced procedures like TAVR, TMVR, and stent placements
Operate cutting-edge equipment including Impella, IABP, and Shockwave
Contribute to atherectomies, mechanical thrombectomies, and mitral clips
Collaborate with the team in a fast-paced 3-lab cardiac cath environment
Manage patient care for adult population using Sunrise/Allscripts and Mac Lab

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in cardiac cath lab or critical care
Active RN License
ACLS certification
Impella and IABP hands-on experience
Ability to titrate drips independently

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care expertise with a cool head under pressure
Proficiency with advanced cath lab tools like OCT, IVUS, Rota, and Penumbra
Familiarity with complex procedures from drug studies to VSD closures
Efficient workflow with an easy-going personality and good sense of humor
