Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in performing left and right heart catheterizations to diagnose cardiac conditions
• Support advanced procedures like TAVR, TMVR, and mitral clip insertions that transform patient lives
• Operate cutting-edge equipment including Impella, IABP, Shockwave, and Rota for atherectomies
• Manage mechanical thrombectomies and stent placements with precision and care
• Titrating drips independently while monitoring adult patients in the dynamic cath lab environment
• Collaborate with a tight-knit team of 7 techs and 13 RNs across 3 state-of-the-art labs

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in cardiac cath lab or critical care settings
• Current ACLS certification
• Active RN license (preferred for this specialized tech role)
• Impella and IABP hands-on experience
• Ability to thrive in high-acuity, fast-paced procedures

• Critical care expertise with independent drip titration
• Proficiency with advanced cath lab equipment like OCT, IVUS, Shockwave, Rota, CSI
• Familiarity with EMR systems including Sunrise/Allscripts and Mac Lab
• Efficient, easy-going personality with a good sense of humor to fit right in
