Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medication orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Monitor drug therapy regimens for potential interactions and side effects
• Provide clinical consultation and clarification to practitioners and patients
• Participate in quality improvement and medication review activities
• Develop and present orientation, education, and training programs to staff

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS Pharmacy degree
• Current license to practice pharmacy in Colorado
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Flu vaccine requirement (no exemptions accepted)

Education

• BS Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy

• Clinical decision-making and patient assessment
