Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide advanced, compassionate care to critically ill cardiac patients in a 26-bed CCU
• Monitor hemodynamic status, titrate medication drips, and respond quickly to changes
• Operate advanced equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, and hypothermia therapy
• Perform cardioversion, manage central lines, and support patients through complex cardiac procedures
• Collaborate closely with a team of RNs, charge nurses, and patient care techs
• Document accurately in the Meditech EMR while maintaining a calm, organized environment

Qualifications

• Active RN license with at least 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required
• Experience with balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia, and medication drips strongly preferred
• Prior Meditech EMR experience is a nice-to-have
• Driven, organized, and positive attitude that thrives in a fast-paced critical care setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and ability to prioritize in critical situations
• Proficiency with cardiac monitoring, hemodynamic support, and critical care pharmacology
• Comfortable performing cardioversion and managing central lines
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with electronic documentation and Meditech EMR
