Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of MRI procedures independently, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, following strict MRI safety protocols.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, performing routine checks and troubleshooting as needed.
• Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to provide excellent patient care.
• Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities within the radiology department.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology is required.
• Prior MRI experience in a hospital setting is required.
• ARRT Registry certification is required.
• MRI Registry certification is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Venipuncture certification is required or must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
• At least two recent supervisory references are needed.

Education

• Formal AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of MRI safety and imaging techniques.
• Proficiency in operating MRI equipment and diagnostic imaging.
• Knowledge of radiologic technology principles and patient care.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and exercise independent judgment.
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills.
