Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during procedures and patient examinations
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe environment
• Take and develop dental X-rays as directed
• Provide exceptional patient care and help patients feel at ease
• Maintain accurate patient records using Denticon software
• Support the team with scheduling and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Certified or registered dental assistant (preferred)
• Experience in orthodontic assisting is a plus
• Comfortable using dental practice management software (Denticon experience a plus)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and dental terminology
• Proficiency with dental software, especially Denticon
• Understanding of sterilization and infection control protocols
• Strong patient interaction and rapport-building skills
