Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists with procedures, including braces adjustments and retainers
• Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments are sterilized and ready
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
• Support a smooth patient flow to create a positive experience for every visit

Qualifications

• Certified dental assistant with current X-ray certification
• Experience in orthodontics is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate
• Strong patient care skills and a gentle, friendly chairside manner
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with the orthodontic team
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

• Familiarity with dental instruments, sterilization techniques, and chairside procedures
• Knowledge of dental terminology and orthodontic treatments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical setting
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and infection control
