Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontist during patient exams and procedures
• Take and develop dental x-rays accurately
• Prepare and sterilize instruments to maintain a safe environment
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and braces care
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Provide excellent patient care and comfort throughout visits

Qualifications

• Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred
• Current X-ray certification required
• Previous experience in orthodontics is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Proficient in taking digital x-rays
• Understanding of orthodontic procedures and appliances
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Patient care and customer service excellence
