Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert critical care to complex medical ICU patients, managing hemodynamics, ventilators, and CRRT
• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients closely through high-acuity procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create compassionate, individualized care plans
• Adapt quickly to a fast-paced, trauma-focused environment
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes using Meditech EMR
• Bring a positive, solution-focused attitude to every shift while supporting your teammates

Qualifications

• Current and active RN license in Kansas or a compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care ICU hospital experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required
• Experience with CRRT, hemodynamic monitoring, and airway management preferred
• Strong teamwork and adaptability, with a positive attitude a must
• Prior travel experience and Meditech skills are a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of critical care nursing standards and best practices
• Skilled in hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
• Comfortable managing ventilated patients and performing airway management
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR and standard ICU equipment
• Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
