Location: Austin, Texas
Start Date: 09-08-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week, including rotating weekends
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT and X-ray imaging procedures with precision and compassion
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging, ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate GE and Siemens imaging equipment to capture clear, accurate images
- Assist with advanced procedures including bone marrow biopsies, cryoablations, and CTA coronary/pulmonary scans
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists to deliver exceptional patient care
- Document patient information and imaging results accurately in Meditech and Fuji PACS
- Follow strict radiation safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Qualifications
- ARRT (R)(CT) certification is required
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT/X-Ray technologist
- Hospital and procedural experience is preferred
- Dual modality skills in both CT and X-ray are essential
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and imaging positioning
- Proficiency with GE and Siemens CT scanners
- Experience with Meditech EMR and Fuji PACS
- Understanding of radiation safety and infection control practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic hospital setting
