Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields and equipment
• Assist surgeons during a variety of orthopedic, ENT, and ophthalmology procedures
• Set up operating room with necessary instruments, supplies, and technology
• Ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of surgical instruments
• Collaborate with the nursing team to provide optimal patient care
• Support a fast-paced, multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Active BLS certification
• NBSTA and DORA certifications required
• Preferred: experience with orthopedic procedures (ACLs, RCRs, knee scopes) and total joints
• Preferred: ENT experience (septoplasty, SMR, T&A, stapedectomy) and instrument room experience
• Team player with a positive attitude and reliable work ethic

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and aseptic technique
• Familiarity with orthopedic, ENT, and ophthalmology procedures
• Ability to anticipate surgeon needs during procedures
• Experience with Stryker Towers, Hana table, Alcon constellation/centurion, Lumera 700, and Stryker power tools
• Understanding of sterilization and infection control practices
