Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-acuity nursing care to emergency department patients
• Perform rapid assessments and triage to prioritize care based on severity
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to stabilize and treat urgent conditions
• Administer medications, start IVs, and provide life-saving interventions
• Document patient histories and outcomes with precision
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care
• Respond quickly to evolving situations and adapt to the unpredictable nature of emergency medicine

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• ER or acute care nursing experience preferred
• Ability to think quickly and stay calm under pressure
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and critical thinking
• Emergency triage and prioritization
• IV insertion and medication administration
• Knowledge of emergency nursing protocols and best practices
• Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
• Compassionate patient and family communication
