Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, specialized care to critically ill neonates in a 19-bed NICU
• Admit new patients and manage comprehensive care plans
• Monitor and support patients on various ventilators, including jet and nitric oxide
• Start peripheral IVs and perform central line maintenance
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of RNs, charge nurses, and physicians
• Follow strict infection prevention protocols to keep our tiniest patients safe

Qualifications

• Current RN license
• Minimum 1 year of NICU experience
• BLS certification required
• NRP certification within 6 months of hire
• STABLE certification encouraged
• Experience with ventilator management and patient admission

Knowledge & Skills

• Neonatal Intensive Care
• Peripheral IV insertion
• Central line maintenance
• CPN (Centricity Perinatal) and Meditech EMR
• Infection prevention
• Ventilator types including jet and nitric oxide
• Teamwork and adaptability
