Start Date: 08-31-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift (NOC), 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, alternating weekends
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, specialized care to critically ill neonates in a 19-bed NICU
- Admit new patients and manage comprehensive care plans
- Monitor and support patients on various ventilators, including jet and nitric oxide
- Start peripheral IVs and perform central line maintenance
- Collaborate with a dedicated team of RNs, charge nurses, and physicians
- Follow strict infection prevention protocols to keep our tiniest patients safe
Qualifications
- Current RN license
- Minimum 1 year of NICU experience
- BLS certification required
- NRP certification within 6 months of hire
- STABLE certification encouraged
- Experience with ventilator management and patient admission
Knowledge & Skills
- Neonatal Intensive Care
- Peripheral IV insertion
- Central line maintenance
- CPN (Centricity Perinatal) and Meditech EMR
- Infection prevention
- Ventilator types including jet and nitric oxide
- Teamwork and adaptability
