Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
• Support mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
• Communicate effectively with the care team to deliver high-quality outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in California
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Previous CNA experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or acute care is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a 12-hour day shift on a per diem basis

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of patient care principles and safety protocols
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
• Skill in using electronic health records (EHR) or willingness to learn
• Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused attitude
• Teamwork and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow care plans
