Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered care to critically ill neonates in a 51-bed Level III NICU
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care plans as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RTs, physicians, and charge nurses
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and life-saving interventions per NRP guidelines
• Support and educate families through the challenges and triumphs of the NICU journey
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Level III or higher NICU experience required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• STABLE and NIC-RNC certifications preferred
• Detail oriented and organized with a passion for neonatal care

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of Level III NICU nursing practices and procedures
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Understanding of neonatal patient ratios (1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4)
