Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures including embolization, y-90, and peripheral interventions
• Assist in trauma cases, drain placements, biopsies, and spine work with precision and care
• Support stroke thrombectomy, neuro coiling, and diagnostic cerebral cases as part of a skilled team
• Provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after procedures
• Operate advanced imaging equipment including Philips biplane and GE systems
• Collaborate with nurses and technologists to ensure seamless workflow and excellent outcomes

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of current IR Tech experience
• Active BLS certification (AHA)
• ARRT (R) registration
• Active Kansas state licensure
• Preferred experience with stroke cases and large trauma facilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in interventional radiology procedures and techniques
• Knowledge of radiation safety and imaging equipment
• Strong patient care and assessment skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in stressful situations
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing case loads
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
