Travel Interventional Radiology Tech
Location: Wichita, Kansas
Start Date: 08-05-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with rotating on-call (1 weekend/month and 1 night/week)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures including embolization, y-90, and peripheral interventions
- Assist in trauma cases, drain placements, biopsies, and spine work with precision and care
- Support stroke thrombectomy, neuro coiling, and diagnostic cerebral cases as part of a skilled team
- Provide high-quality patient care before, during, and after procedures
- Operate advanced imaging equipment including Philips biplane and GE systems
- Collaborate with nurses and technologists to ensure seamless workflow and excellent outcomes
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of current IR Tech experience
- Active BLS certification (AHA)
- ARRT (R) registration
- Active Kansas state licensure
- Preferred experience with stroke cases and large trauma facilities
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in interventional radiology procedures and techniques
- Knowledge of radiation safety and imaging equipment
- Strong patient care and assessment skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in stressful situations
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing case loads
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
