Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff
• Assist with activities of daily living to promote patient independence and dignity
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
• Document care provided accurately and timely in electronic health records
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in West Virginia
• Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience in a long-term care or hospital setting
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Flexibility to work the alternating weekly schedule

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and team members
• Knowledge of infection control protocols and safety procedures
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients with physical limitations
• Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
• Time management skills to handle multiple priorities
