Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical environments for diverse procedures including CVOR cases like CABG, valve replacements, and lead extractions
• Assist surgeons across multiple specialties including total joints, general surgery, vascular, spine, ENT, and trauma cases
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team to ensure seamless procedures and optimal patient outcomes
• Utilize Cerner Surginet EMR system to document and track surgical activities accurately
• Support the OR team during both scheduled cases and on-call situations with professionalism and expertise

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with total joints, general surgery, vascular, and spine procedures
• Proficiency with Cerner Surginet EMR system
• Surgical Tech certification and current clinical competencies
• Ability to work flexible shifts including 8s, 10s, and 12s as needed
• Comfortable participating in call rotation for weeknights and weekends

Knowledge & Skills

• Expert knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation across multiple specialties
• Familiarity with CVOR procedures including CABG, valve replacements, pacemakers, and lung cases
• Strong understanding of orthopedic, vascular, neuro/spine, and trauma surgical protocols
• Ability to adapt quickly to different surgical teams and case types
• Excellent communication skills for seamless collaboration in high-stakes environments
