Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 8-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 3:15 PM; 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM; 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM; 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (weekends only)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during a wide range of procedures including robotics, ortho, neuro, and general cases
Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for each case
Scrub in for total joints, spinal fusions, Davinci Xi robotics, and more
Support the team by floating to ortho or neuro cases as a second scrub when needed
Provide one-on-one patient observation on the floor when case volume is low
Maintain a sterile field and follow strict safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

Current CST or NCCT certification
BLS certification required
North Dakota UAP registration
At least 1 year of OR experience in either Ortho/Neuro or General/Robotics
Willingness to float and cross-train across specialties
Ability to respond to call within 15 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Davinci Xi robotics and ION Robot systems
Experience with Stryker towers and open belly procedures
Strong understanding of ortho, neuro, and general surgical cases
Comfortable assisting with total joints, spinal fusions, and GYN procedures
Flexible and adaptable to changing case volumes and assignments
