Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, cognition and swallowing to create clear baselines
• Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans and measurable goals
• Deliver compassionate therapy and track patient progress, adjusting plans as needed
• Collaborate with families, caregivers and the interdisciplinary team to maximize outcomes
• Document clinical findings, treatment plans and progress notes in a timely and compliant manner
• Provide education and training to staff and caregivers to support carryover and success
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Washington state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, or eligibility to obtain licensure
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or in progress
• Experience working with pediatric populations is a strong plus (Class: P-SLP)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and teamwork mindset
• Current immunizations and ability to pass background and health screenings as required by the facility

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or equivalent graduate degree)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assessment and diagnosis of speech, language and swallowing disorders
• Proficient in developing individualized treatment plans and measurable goals
• Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies
• Strong documentation practices and electronic medical record experience
• Family-centered care approach and ability to provide caregiver training
