Shift Type: Variable 4 x 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM; call rotation 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic ultrasound exams including general, OBGYN, and vascular studies
• Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures such as drains and biopsies
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and dignity during imaging procedures
• Document and maintain accurate patient records in EPIC
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care
• Participate in call rotation to provide emergency ultrasound coverage

Qualifications

• Current ARDMS certification (RDMS, RDCS, or RVT) required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience
• Experience with procedures, including drains and biopsies
• Experience with general and OBGYN ultrasound; vascular experience is a plus
• Comfortable working with EPIC and Fuji imaging systems

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of ultrasound physics and instrumentation
• Expertise in general, OBGYN, and vascular sonography
• Proficiency with Phillips ultrasound equipment
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR and PACS
• Ability to perform ultrasound-guided procedures
• Excellent patient communication and care skills
• Detail-oriented documentation with a focus on accuracy
