Scheduler

Location: San Rafael, California

Start Date: 01-02-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, approximately 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, hours may vary based on surgical volume, some overtime may be required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Schedule and coordinate outpatient surgical procedures for multiple surgeons across various specialties
Serve as a liaison between surgeons' offices, patients, anesthesia providers, and ASC clinical staff
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including HIPAA and accreditation requirements
Manage schedule adjustments, cancellations, and same-day add-on cases while maintaining efficient patient flow

Qualifications

Previous experience in scheduling or a related field, preferably in a medical setting
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility and sound judgment

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required, associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of medical terminology and surgical procedures
Experience with scheduling software and systems
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
